For Exterior painting, you’ll consider painting every five to ten years depending on climate and weather. Living here in the Lowcountry, we’re exposed to salt air, humidity and heat which are all contributing factors. If you notice bubbling, cracking, peeling or fading, it’s time to repaint. 

For Interior painting, each room has unique needs although you’re likely needing a fresh coat every 5-7 years. Rooms that are used more frequently, like kitchens and hallways may need to be painted more often. Interior spaces with flat finishes show wear more quickly than gloss finishes. Baseboards may even be considered every 2-3 years.
